Goin Firearms and Shooting offers complete, licensed LTC Courses in North Texas for you and your family. We offer LTC classes for folks new to handguns and also LTC renewal classes for the more experienced of you. Our LTC courses are nothing but professional and respectful to you the client and the weaponry involved. We have over 45 years of experience with pistols, rifles, ammunition, and weapons safety and tactics.

Read through the below “Mandatory Equipment” section after reviewing the “Costs and Times” area and also notice on the map to the right where your Texas LTC license are legal to carry.

NO handling of weapons in the parking lot!

1. Eye Protection
2. Ear/Hearing protection – muff type – to cover the ear and area behind the ear.
3. Head cover-cap or hat that covers the head and area toward the face (such as a baseball cap)
4. No sandals, flipflops, or clogs.
5. No shorts.
6. Shirt with a collar.

Handguns
One revolver of at least .32 caliber or one semi-automatic of at least .9mm caliber (.380 acp is acceptable)
All handguns should be in good working condition and have no modification(s) that will make the handgun unsafe.
Be familiar with your handgun.
There is no time allotted for zeroing handgun in this class.
No optical enhancers will be allowed.
Ammunition – NO RELOADED AMMUNITION WILL BE ALLOWED and NO ALUMINUM CASES. You will need a minimun of 50 rounds for each sidearm, as well as additional ammunition should you fail to qualify the first time.
